Whiting Bay to Lamlash
<< PREVIOUS SECTION RETURN TO MAIN WEBSITE NEXT SECTION >>
At the southern end of Whiting Bay the way turns left up the track with a finger post for Glenashdale Falls, the path going upstream by its left bank. After a steep climb it reaches an airy platform with superb views of the falls. Follow the way marks to the Iron Age Fort. Continue to follow the way marks, crossing a foot bridge and eventually emerge from the trees to meet a reconstructed path where you turn left uphill. The route soon meets the broad Kilmory-Lamlash cycle track where you turn right for Lamlash. In 4km, you reach the Ross Road; turn right into Lamlash.
