Ignore the path that leads left, steeply uphill to Dun Fionn Fort. Instead keep straight on along the coast and after 2km cross a fence by a stile, near the settlement of Dunan. At the last house descend back to the shore and follow it round Corriegills Point. Use the faint path along the high water mark or the sandstone foreshore.
About 2km after the point, pass below Brodick's landfill site. Turn left where signed and climb to the tarmac road through a small industrial area. Turn right along Market Road and within 500 metres you will reach Brodick Pier.
