his first two thirds of this section is on the road or roadside of the quiet coast road. Walkers can take a side trip to the impressive Machrie Moor stone circles. The Coastal Way turns off the road at the Forestry and Land Scotland King’s Cave carpark and follows an excellent path to the coast and past the aforementioned cave. The route follows the footpath along the coast and around Drumadoon Point to Blackwaterfoot.
