T
he inland Coastal Way path swings inland to take in the impressive Glenashdale Falls and then continues through the forest to Lamlash. The coastal route passes through Whiting Bay village and round Kingscross Point to the Viking Grave and Iron Age Hill Fort. The route continues to Ardlui and then along the shore to Cordon, on a mixture of boardwalk through the shore-side woodland and sections on the beach. There is a small section of this route that is not passable for around an hour at high tide, so please check tide times. The two routes converge in Lamlash.
PLEASE NOTE!
Main Route: Extra care should be taken on the boardwalk between Cordon and Kingscross during the winter months as the surface can be wet and slippery.
